The New Yorker Magazine, April 13 1940, the complete issue in nice shape. Constantin Alajalov illustrated the cover. This issue includes an extensive profile of McSorley's Old Ale House in New York City, a first-year Miss Rheingold Beer with Jinx Falkenburg, and much more. The pages are crisp and clean, bright white without a hint of foxing, no writing, no creases, nothing missing, tight to the staples; there is a 2" split along the bottom of the spine, otherwise it is Very Fine. Strictly graded Good; it was put away when brand new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it. Shipped in an archival sleeve with backing board. The images show the actual magazine you will receive; we do not use stock photos, we do not touch anything up, we do not crop anything.
