The New Yorker Magazine, April 6 1940, complete issue in good shape. Rea Irvin did the cover. This issue includes a Charles Addams cartoon showing Morticia about to descent back into her sewer home after a date, and more. The pages are crisp and clean, bright white, no creases, nothing missing, tight to the staples. Strictly graded Good, with a light pencil mark top left and foxing along the spine edge; it was put away when new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it. We have many other exquisite vintage New Yorker issues from this once-in-a-lifetime collection, so if there is one you want that you don't see in our listings yet, please let us know. All our New Yorkers are shipped in archival-quality sleeves with backing boards.
