The New Yorker Magazine, February 26 1949, the complete issue in good shape. Rea Irvin illustrated the cover. This issue includes the Charles Addams Family home movies cartoon, the writing of Morris Bishop, Frederick Jacobi Jr, Joseph Langland, Frances Gray Patton, loads of great vintage ads and more. The pages are crisp and clean, without a hint of foxing or other staining, no writing, nothing missing, tight to the staples- it appears to be as-new, Near Mint, but has a 3/4" piece of 'invisible' tape at the bottom of the spine. Strictly graded VG, it was put away when brand new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it, almost untouched since new until now. We have many other exquisite vintage New Yorker issues from this once-in-a-lifetime collection, so if there is one you want that you don't see in our listings yet, please let us know. All our New Yorkers are shipped in archival-quality sleeves with backing boards.
