The New Yorker Magazine, July 3 1948, complete issue in gorgeous shape. Ludwig Bemelmans did the cover. The pages are crisp and clean, white without a hint of foxing or any other staining, no writing, no creases, nothing missing, tight to the staples; there is a tiny "10" in blue ink at the top left corner of the front cover and a 2" split at the bottom of the spine, otherwise as-new. Strictly graded Very Good; it is in great shape, put away when brand new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it, untouched since new until now.
