The New Yorker Magazine, March 20 1954, the complete issue in great shape. Saul Steinberg illustrated the cover, which is his second for the NYer. This issue includes the Addams Family listening to records cartoon, a profile of "Bill the Butcher" Bill Poole (of "Gangs of New York" movie fame), fiction by Nadine Gordimer, Allan Seager, and John Watney, and much more. The pages are crisp and clean, without a hint of foxing, no writing, nothing missing, tight to the staples, with light vertical creases in the lower right quadrant. Strictly graded Fine; it was put away when brand new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it, untouched since new until now. We have many other New Yorker issues from this once-in-a-lifetime collection, so if there is one you want that you don't see in our listings yet, please let us know. The photos we use are of the actual item available for sale, we do not use stock photos because we don't need to.
