The New Yorker Magazine, May 22 1978, the complete issue in great shape. Robert Tallon illustrated the cover. This issue includes the first publication of the Alice Munro story "The Moons of Jupiter," which was later published in book form with a few differences, so this magazine is the only place to get the actual original first printing. The pages are crisp, with no writing, no creases, nothing missing, tight to the staples; there is a small stain at the top left corner otherwise it is as-new. Strictly graded Good; it was put away when brand new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it, untouched since new until now. We have many other exquisite vintage New Yorker issues from this once-in-a-lifetime collection, so if there is one you want that you don't see in our listings yet, please let us know. All our New Yorkers are shipped in archival-quality sleeves with backing boards.
