The New Yorker Magazine, November 27 1943, the complete issue in gorgeous shape.  Helen E Hokinson illustrated the cover.  This issue includes thee first publication of the John Cheever story "Dear Lord, We Thank Thee For Thy Bounty," and much more.  The pages are crisp and clean, without a hint of foxing or any other staining, no writing, nothing missing, tight to the staples, no creases. Strictly graded Fine- it has a 1/3" split at the bottom of the spine and light creasing there, otherwise it's Near Mint; it was put away when brand new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it, untouched since new until now. Shipped in an archival sleeve with backing board. The images show the actual magazine you will receive; we do not use stock photos, we do not touch anything up, we do not crop anything, the magazine really is that nice.
