The New Yorker Magazine, October 15, 1949, complete issue in nice shape. Garrett Price illustrated the cover. This issue includes an extensive profile of harness racing trainer and driver Frank Safford, and more. The pages are crisp and clean, without a hint of foxing or any other staining, no writing, nothing missing, tight to the staples, with a faint 1/8" tear in the lower right edge of the front cover which extends into about two-thirds of the pages. Strictly graded Good; it was put away when brand new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it, untouched since new until now. We have many other New Yorker issues from this once-in-a-lifetime collection, so if there is one you want that you don't see in our listings yet, please let us know.
