The New Yorker Magazine, September 14 1968, the complete issue in extraordinary shape. Charles Saxon illustrated the cover. This issue has part one of the two-part Mavis Gallant article "The Events in May: A Paris Notebook" (we are also listing part two right now, September 21 1968) which inspired part three of the magnificent Wes Anderson movie, "The French Dispatch," the writing of Perdita Buchan, Louis O. Coxe, W.S. Merwin, and others. The pages are crisp and clean, without a hint of foxing or any other staining, no creases, no tears, nothing missing, tight to the staples. Strictly graded Very Fine; it is genuinely as-new, and was put away when brand new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it, untouched since new until now. Shipped in an archival sleeve with backing board. The images show the actual magazine you will receive; we do not use stock photos, we do not touch anything up, we do not crop anything, the magazine really is that nice, yes, and even nicer in person. We have many other beautiful New Yorkers online now so please take a look. If there is an issue you are after please let us know.
