The New Yorker Magazine, September 5 1953, the complete issue in stunning shape, as-new. Abe Birnbaum illustrated the cover. This issue includes an Addams Family cartoon starring Puglsey and Wednesday, a great ad for Remington Rand typewriters created by Charles Addams, fiction by V.S. Pritchett, Geoffrey T Hellman, M.C. Blackman and much more. The pages are crisp and clean, without a hint of foxing or any other staining, no writing, nothing missing, tight to the staples. Strictly graded Very Fine/Near Mint; it was put away when brand new (along with many others we have) by an obsessive New Yorker collector from whom we acquired it, untouched since new until now. Shipped in an archival sleeve with backing board. The images show the actual magazine you will receive; we do not use stock photos, we do not touch anything up. We have many other beautiful New Yorkers online now so please take a look. If there is an issue you are after please let us know.
